Resolutions, decisions, changes, or adventures – whatever you call them – every new day is the first day of the rest of your life.

Thinking about relocating? Retiring? Tired of the biting cold winters where you’re living?

Wishing for fresh air, and warm sunshine, ocean views, and a place where you can just walk outside and feel as though you’re part of something?

You’re not alone.

You don’t have to be close to retirement to relocate, you just have to love the idea that where you are going will make you happy.

That it will be a place where you can live your best life.

For many folks, that place is Celadon.

Here’s why.

Beaufort SC was listed (by ideal-Living) as one of the top 10 counties that people relocated to in 2017. And that trend continues to grow.

Did you know that 62% of people relocating are those born in the 1950s?

This diverse group is predominantly interested in living somewhere near or on the coast and having ready access to walking trails, and a wellness/fitness center. A place with a sense of community was also listed among the top four “must-haves.”

Sound like you?

If you’d like to enjoy the best of your life in a beautiful Lowcountry coastal environment among wildlife and in nature, Celadon has that and more.

The more

Friendly neighbors, (well, we are Southerners), Beaufort’s arts and cultural activities, fine dining, festivals, world-class hospitals, opportunities for lifetime learning, farmer’s markets, and boutique shopping.

Add to all that the exquisite architecture and Lowcountry flavor built into our lovely homes, and you’ll understand why we are growing!

Celadon is excited to announce that Phase Three of our development plan is well underway, with a great selection of Premium homesites now available.

Unquestionably, the best way to get the feel of Celadon is to pay us a visit.

We’ve made that easy and fun for you with our Discovery Visit.

You’ll stay at your choice of one of three Inns – The Rhett House, Cuthbert House, or City Loft Hotel. From there, you can stroll to restaurants, boutique shops, and local art galleries, or enjoy a guided tour of the South’s most impressive historic neighborhoods.

If you’d prefer to get on the water, we can help you book a sunset wine cruise, fishing expedition, or kayak rental for an outdoor adventure!

Then we’ll show you why Celadon is the perfect place for you in Beaufort! We’ll take you on a thorough and personalized tour of our Lowcountry neighborhoods (where you can check out our available homes and homesites), lovely parks and trails, Celadon Club, and more.

Your Celadon Discovery Visit is just $299 for a three-day stay. Contact us for more information and assistance in planning all aspects of your trip. We can’t wait to show you how much you are going to love living here!

Mark your calendars y’all. There will be oysters!

And you won’t want to miss the first Beaufort Oyster Festival.

There is always something going on in Beaufort, SC, but this is new, so be sure to write it down.

Inaugural Beaufort Oyster Festival

This event is envisioned to celebrate all aspects of our Lowcountry oystering culture and agri-tourism economy from historical, to architectural, ecological, agricultural, culinary, hand-crafted, and more. The full event is as an 8-day festival that corresponds with South Carolina Restaurant Week, where the focus is on presenting oyster fare at area restaurants. The event will end with a weekend festival in the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park.
